Food Pairings & Cocktails: A Taste of Jazz
In celebration of Jazz Appreciation month, the renowned chefs from The Restaurant and Bar Collection at Time Warner Center teamed up with Jazz at Lincoln Center for an exclusive dining and musical event. A Voce, MASA, Center Bar, Porter House New York and Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola served up jazz-themed world cuisines while Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks performed rhythm and beats! A Taste of Jazz proved to be an evening of decadence with surprise meet-and-greets from the chefs of The Restaurant and Bar Collection, delicious passed canapés and an open bar featuring the Strawberry Bellini signature cocktail!

BKLYN DESIGNS, A Decade of Brooklyn
BKLYNDESIGNS, presented by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, celebrated their 10th anniversary by returning to DUMBO, Brooklyn, on May 10-12, 2013. The three-day exhibition showcased the most innovative contemporary furnishings and home accessories crafted in Brooklyn. Visitors including design press, trade, design and art aficionados, hipsters, families and more poured into St. Ann’s Warehouse for the hottest designs in Brooklyn. With a diverse array of panel discussions, keynote speakers, design-related after parties, delicious food trucks and an outdoor kids lounge, BKLYN DESIGNS had something for everyone!

Lapham's
Quarterly Decades Ball: The 1950’s
The
renowned literary magazine, Lapham's Quarterly, hosted their second annual
Decades Ball featuring the 1950’s at Capitale NYC. Guests arrived donning
iconic 50’s fashions, and were greeted with pocket squares and pinned flowers
to perfect the look. Noted Hollywood figures including Tom Hanks, Patricia
Clarkson, Jessie Tyler Ferguson, Tony Kushner, Nellie McKay, Steven Pasquale
and Martha Plimpton, captured the essence of the decade with performances of
North by Northwest, Marilyn Monroe, and Doris Day. The evening ended with
honoring historian Kevin Philips with the Janus Prize award, presented by
Broadcast Journalist legend Morley Safer.
