Some Like It Hot and So Do We!

Summer was sizzling, full of fun, but went by way too fast! Still, Auster Agency managed to set aside some time to unwind and celebrate. Here are a few of our favorite memories from the season...

We encouraged shoppers to show off their favorite Park Essentials from Time Warner Center in Central park by uploading a photo to Twitter. The very deserving winner won a $300 gift card to Williams-Sonoma Columbus Circle. Check out his photo with a Central Park book from Borders!

In June, we celebrated Bastille Day at Bouchon Bakery in Time Warner Center. It was an exquisite evening of sparkling wine, lively music, and AMAZING food including raw oysters, shrimp cocktail, fresh lobster claw meat, brie crêpes, and macarons. We LOVE the taste of French freedom!

At the height of summer, we packed a wine and cheese picnic and watched the hilarious classic, Airplane!, underneath the stars in Bryant Park among a crowd of thousands of lounging New Yorkers. It was quite a night to remember.

To mark the 10th Anniversary of 9/11, Time Warner Center presented an exhibition of more than 50 images from Joe McNally’s renowned “Faces of Ground Zero, Portraits of the Heroes of September 11, 2001.” We joined friends and family of the exhibit for a lovely and reflective cocktail reception commemorating the anniversary. After the event, our good friend, Karl Daniel, gave us an amazing private tour of the jaw-dropping amenities for residents in the penthouses of Time Warner Center. Can you believe the view?

Oh, the parting of summer is such sweet sorrow… but we have a full plate of activities to look forward to in the Fall. Make sure you join us for our BIG weekend in October. We're taking over Brooklyn with The New New York and The 37th Annual Atlantic Antic! Can't wait to see you there!

The NEW New York
October 1st, 11am-5pm
N. 11th Street between Wythe Avenue and Berry Avenue
Everybody loves a block party! Come learn how to TAKE ACTION to make a more sustainable city and to provide a deeper understanding of what a true Green New York City can be. GreenHomeNYC's annual green street fair, The NEW New York, will be filled with fun from learning how to plant a green roof, to watching worms wiggle and transform organic matter into dirt, to hanging out in our student-designed sustainable furniture lounge, to tours of nearby green buildings -- and more!

The Atlantic Antic
October 2nd, 12pm-6pm
Atlantic Avenue between Hicks Street and 4th Avenue
The Atlantic Antic is a longstanding tradition in New York City. Spanning four neighborhoods through the heart of brownstone Brooklyn, the Atlantic Antic is the largest and most celebrated street festival in New York City! With over 500 artists, craftspeople, musicians, and food merchants purveying an eclectic variety of goods and services, the Antic is the perfect place to explore everything the city has to offer!
